Social Groups
Our groups, NW KIDS, meet one hour weekly September through mid-June. Gusty-Lee, RinaMarie and Kristin facilitate groups (and have a GREAT time!) and emphasize helping children grow and develop in the areas of social problem solving, emotional regulation, friendship, play, and communication. All therapy is embedded within the context of developmentally appropriate, fun and engaging activities! A variety of developmental and behavioral evidence-based intervention strategies are used and children’s progress is monitored. We meet with parents to share progress.
We have groups for children ages 3-7 (preschool through first grade). Typically there are 4-6 children in each group. Groups meet for one hour per week.The cost is $65 per session and families are billed at the beginning of the month. We do an initial one hour intake meeting for each child to ensure the group is a good match. You will be billed a $100 intake fee if you child enters a group.School Year 2009-2010 groups are currently full.
We are enrolling kids for our summer 2010 AND school year 2010-2011 groups. At this point our K-1 groups are full. We do have openings for 3-5 year olds. These are children who will be in preschool for school year 2010-2011. The summer session runs July 19th-Sept 2nd. School year groups begin Mid September and run through June.
