SARA MOLINA, M.ED., BCBA, LBA

Sara began her career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2011, when she began her private practice as a therapy assistant and had the opportunity to contract with many ABA providers and agencies throughout the Seattle area. Sara went on to study Special Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis at University of Washington, earning her Masters of Education in 2014. Since graduating, Sara has run a private practice providing therapy to children ages 2-12 in their homes, schools, and communities, as well as consultation to families and teachers as an advocate to the children she serves. Sara's passion has always been around helping children thrive socially and emotionally, and she focuses heavily on relationship building with her clients so there is mutual understanding and trust.  Sara loves to write a good social story and prepare her clients for what to expect in social situations, then support them in the natural environment until they can independently engage with their peers and regulate their emotions. Although Sara has worked closely with the Peers Play team since the beginning of her career, she is finally joining Peers Play formally in summer 2021 as one of the head social group teachers.
